The 18 gauge opal fixed bead ring is made from 316L stainless steel. These have the appearance of a regular captive bead ring except the ball has been permanently fixed to one end of the ring. Do not hold the bead when opening or closing these rings. Hold the metal only or else you risk cracking the bead.
